Today I'm focus on this beaty island of white sands; the same that on pandemic almost begged for open because it people that basically lives from tourism doesn't have incomes.
What's surprise when you arrive at airport its totally disrespectful for tourist when you have a common problem like the airline broke your baggage and off course they don't like to assume their responsibility.
When finally can go out of the airport (don't miss also the inquisitor questions of custom agent that believes that's you go to Bahamas to stole or similars) you arrive then of a long, long trip to your hotel. In my case to the famous Atlantis.
And then.... again the inhospitalety of the front desk, the bellboys, the waiters, the security lady that in front of the guest stroke her intimate part (like she was in an old pirate bourdel an not in a five star hotel).
As I said to a manager there: 1 bad thing it's bad luck, 2 bad thing it's causality.... 7 or more it's a problem with the managers, the leaders that can handle this kind of operators, the ones that only can peel sugar cane or harvest cotton; and don't misunderstand but they do only by obligation, and in service jobs you must be gently, act happy, or at least finge that you're happy.
There's no doubt again that the magical Caribbean Sea plus the whites sand plus the proximity and investments from USA mades this island grows more than it deserve it. The bad attention it's elsewhere no matter if you're on a five star resort, inside a bus, airport or restaurant. Let's talk about restaurant and food: the must buy it's the famous rum cake (doesn't matter the brand because in original flavor they all are similars). Then you may buy some rum bottle of John Waitlings and take a stop at Graycliff Hotel to take some pictures and get bored with the slow waiters.... in stars from 1 to 5 3 stars (maybe 2, just the neighborhood of all
Nassau, the unfriendly atmosphere of the island, the high prices comparing at what do you receive could sometimes don't think clearly).
As conclusion: just an island with not friendly people that if you can avoid I strongly recommend you do that (and forget the dreams pictures with pigs or pink sand: doesn't worthy).
